About CTG Security Matrix
The work CTG Security Matrix’s principals and network companies have undertaken in control room design and associated practices has received international attention.

CTG Security Matrix is an organisation devoted to providing operational advice and recommendations to guide the planning, design, documentation, installation, maintenance and future upgrades of electronic surveillance systems and control infrastructure.

CTG Security Matrix formalises the advice and services provided by acknowledged worldleading surveillance security specialist, Charles Tomas, whose expertise until the formation of CTG Security Matrix was accessed principally by selected clients through the South Australian Department for Correctional Services (SA DCS). During this time, Mr Tomas was employed as Senior Project Manager Electronics, responsible for security surveillance within the South Australia’s prison system.

While working for SA DCS, Mr Tomas’s reputation continued to grow. As a public service Department however, SA DCS did not have the authority to reconcile or sanction increasing requests for Mr Tomas’s consultancy services. To solve this impasse, Mr Tomas formed CTG Security Matrix– and SA DCS is now among the group’s growing list of clients.

While working for SA DCS, Mr Tomas’s meticulous planning and world’s best practice innovations in electronic surveillance and detection system design, control room construction and integration, played a major part in the Department winning the prestigious Australian Security Institute’s Award for Excellence – Major Security Installation in 2005.

The Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) award helped confirm Mr Tomas’s reputation in security surveillance planning and implementation. However, in the relatively small fraternity of surveillance and security management around the world, Mr Tomas’s reputation had already preceded him.

The work CTG Security Matrix’s principals and network companies have undertaken in control room design and associated practices whilst working under SA DCS jurisdiction, has received international attention through articles published in Prison Review International, a London-based magazine with subscribers in 80 countries. In addition, Charles Tomas was formally invited to Miami in 2003 and Beijing in 2004 to present one of his projects to the ‘International Corrections and Prison Association’ group. With this peer recognition and ‘on the ground’ experience, CTG Security Matrix is confident that it can provide reliable, cost-effective security solutions to match the needs of the most discerning clients.

Most importantly, CTG Security Matrix formally brings together an impressive team of security and surveillance experts developed by Mr Tomas over many years and whose experience and expertise is integral to the electronics solutions CTG Security Matrix provides.
